– To live on Nahant is to leave your stress behind every time you come across the causeway….escaping the hustle and bustle of the city … While Boston is only 30 minutes away……it is now a world away.

Nahant has a great sense of community… while rich in New England coastal history, the Island boasts a vibrant cultural and social scene. Boston Magazine calls Nahant, “Boston’s Best Kept Secret!”
And we agree!

An eclectic mix of people and architecture: Lovely turn of the century ocean front homes, an historic library and town hall, 4 Country Clubs, numerous parks and beaches, and many civic organizations….it really is the best of small town living!

The ocean if never far away….for swimming, sailing, or just a quiet walk on any of the many accessible beaches. One of your favorite vacation spots will be your own backyard!

166 Willow Road is a refuge …. walking through the front door of this classically built and traditionally designed 1923 home you will feel it wrap it’s arms around you… it’s a magical place for entertaining, easily accommodating 40 or 50 people, especially in the summer with the generous deck overlooking the yard with it’s mature plantings framing the space and creating privacy.

The family quarters provide lovely bedrooms arranged around a spacious landing and the home’s handsome staircase. You will make many spectacular entrances coming down this enchanting staircase!

The third floor is open for interpretation. With it’s sweeping view of the water and the Boston skyline it can offer a spacious Master bedroom suite… or elegant guest quarters. Perhaps you would prefer a wonderful home office space or expanded living space for the whole family…then again it could be the best au pair suite anywhere!
It’s your call!
